What does the site measure?
The site uses analytics that do not set cookies. It counts:
- page views;
- phone-number taps;
- clicks on outbound links, such as a link to a law firm.
The counts show which pages are used and which links readers choose. They are not tied to your name, phone number or email address.
What happens to what you enter in a tool?
The claim deadline checker runs in your browser. The dates and answers you enter are used to calculate the result on your device. They are not sent to the site's servers. Do not enter names, medical details or other personal information into the tool. It does not need them.
Does the site have accounts?
No. You cannot register, sign in or save a profile. The site does not ask for your name or email to read a page or use a tool.
Is data sold or shared?
No. The site does not sell personal data. The aggregate counts described above are used to improve the guide. If you follow an outbound link, such as to a law firm or a government agency, that site's own privacy policy applies from the moment you arrive there.
What about phone calls and messages?
A phone tap opens your device's dialer. The call itself is between you and the number you dial and is not recorded by this site. If you write to the editorial team, we use your message only to respond and to correct the guide.
How are changes made?
When this policy changes, the updated text replaces this page. Questions go to the contact page.
